I have checked "Start Steam when computer starts" and "Start Steam in BigBicture mode" in Steam settings.

It's like Steam is unable to recognize my internet connection right away after boot, and then when it tries to log in it succeeds but crashes right after.

Replicated today on upgraded hardware, Core i5 3570k + MSI GD65 Z77 MB + 1600 8GB DDR3 RAM + SAMSUNG 840 SSD 250GB + Linux Mint 14 with different network adapter

This may be off -topic or maybe not. I have tested this in Windows 7 aswell, same problem but it doesen't loop, only crashes once to desktop. Putting a shortcut with target "steam.exe" -tenfoot in the startup-folder.
