Actually, path (including binary's name) would be better.
I agree with Majkl578, it would be better with the name of the binary and against dropping the location column because it does provide useful information to find what your are looking for in a list that will most of the time be huge.
Adding the binary name makes sense, otherwise on opensuse all the applications in the list are in /usr/bin (granted I understand they can come from other places).

Obviously minor, but on linux all/most applications are going to be linked in to one spot. Dunno how useful this feature is on linux, although if for whatever reason someone needed to know it could be handy. A tooltip might suffice.
