Hi today i installed steam beta on ubuntu 12.10 64 bit version, i start the installation and at 88% i put the download in pause and i restart the pc in order to go on windows 7...
At my return to linux, now, i'm redownloading again team fortress 2....
I think this issue could be appliable to all games do you put in pause..

I had problems starting the tf2 download - there was an error (but didn't record it, sorry), but the download was queued and set to paused - right clicking and selecting "pause download" then right click again and select "resume download" got the transfer started (I think I had a similar thing in windows steam though).

But back to the subject: couldn't reproduce.

Using Opensuse 12.2 64bit via http://software.opensuse.org/package/steam
