Can you reproduce this problem? We've seen it before but don't know how to reproduce it here. Thanks.
Confirmed here too. This may or may not help, but I think I've even seen this on Windows a while back once (can't try to reproduce on Windows at the moment though).
Actually, Just had a friend on Windows try and tell me they couldn't reproduce it though :(
A bit more detail: Type in the chat text box and without pressing enter, then highlight all the text in the input text box WITH A MOUSE and type over it.
(At first I thought you needed to highlight the text within the chat messages itself, but it must be within the text input box.)

I can add that I had this bug on Windows a few years ago. Unfortunately I never found out how to reproduce it.
Ahh, I get it now. Basically the input cursor get stuck to the mouse aka it's following it pretty much.
fixed in next release (happening this week).
Nothing extracted yet.
As soon as I highlight a word (edit:)with the mouse and type over it, it makes the chat text be input backwards, I can also not move the input cursor with the arrow keys until I either send what I've typed or close the window.
