I am having this problem, the system counts the achievement but the pop up saying I got it during the game doesn´t appear, I tried with different games and it never showed up to me.
Since the update before this last one, I´ve got the overlay and screen capture with F12 working, but with minor issues like, sometimes it doesn´t show up, like with Steel Storm and Eversion (It worked once, but I tried again and it didn´t work and I couldn´t capture a screen and, when I quit the game Steam closed).
My Specs:
O.S.: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 bits
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (Six cores)
Video: Radeon HD 4290 (Onboard with 512 MB of shared memory)
Memory: 4 GB of RAM
Catalyst version: 2.14 (the one from the oficial repository)
