Doesn't start at all.

It started correctly for me. There's no overlay but that's expected as the game doesn't appear to use OpenGL, which is required for overlay support.

Still nothing for me. I guess I'm missing some dependencies on Arch.

You might try contacting the game developer.

Will do.

Try running sudo apt-get install ia32-libs-multiarch. This got it working for me in Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit.

I'm using Arch Linux and that package doesn't exist on it. If I knew which specific 32-bit library(ies) I was missing I could get it working; I have contacted the developer but haven't heard anything as yet. Will post back if/when I do.

I think you need 32bit gstreamer.

I concluded the same thing but the lib32-gstreamer package I installed via the AUR hasn't helped and I'm getting the same error message(s). I expect it's a matter of library locations and/or versions but I haven't got time at the moment to look into it.

I have Arch on my laptop and I managed to get Intrusion 2 working on steam, you need lib32-gstreamer, lib32-xtst and lib32-gstreamer0.10-base, you can find both in AUR. Cheers

Currently installing lib32-gstreamer0.10-base from AUR and it require an insane amount of dependencies also from AUR.

Does anyone tried contacting the developer?

?ghost 2013-03-10 github

Yes, heard nothing back.

Pretty sure this problem is exclusive to Arch 64.

FFastolph 2013-03-10 github

Just finished compiling everything. Now the game start and is playable.
I also found out that the game is using Flash, so maybe even the developer can't do anything for this issue.

Glad you got it working, as for the installation of lib32-gstreamer0.10-base the installation is rather less painful when you use makepkg -s instead of just using makepkg.

Nothing extracted yet.
