My new bought games (3party "The book of unwritten tales") shown not automatic in the library. I had to restart steam to show correct.

reproduce:
buy a game
don't click the download button after buying
go direct into your library

Humpf.. just tried it exactly the way you described.

  1. Search for "The book"
  2. Bought " The book of unwritten tales"
  3. When bougth on the screen where you get asked if you wanna install or go/continue shopping (and print your buy-relevant-parts): Clicked on "Library" tab.
  4. "The book of unwritten tales" did show up (installable) in category "GAMES" (because i never asigned another cat. obviously...)

Seems to be a very specific problem. Hope this game is worth that I bought it to check/test your problem :))))

Still sorry for your problem. (Never happened 2 me, using Debian(sid) and installed a chroot with Ubuntu12.04LTS for steam)

That's crazy...
I can't imagine the issue is OS specific but maybe...
I'm on OpenSuSE 12.2.

I hope you like the game. There's another issue with the game, if you choose settings (ingame) it chrashes the game. That's reported here.

I don't see this problem so I'm not sure what's going on. We'll have to try and find a repro. If you buy another game please let us know if you see the same problem.
