Can't remember where I hit this, sorry, but the age verification pulldown for years
only showed the selected year, so actually picking the right year involved
a lot of guesswork.

Uh... isn't the 9x series of nvidia cards supposed to be covered by the 310.x series of drivers?

Ddankegel 2012-12-21 github

Yes, that's it exactly.

MMrSchism 2012-12-21 github

As weird as it sounds, have you tried the 310.x series of drivers?

I have a similiar issue: When clicking one of the buttons, the list disappears immediatly, so I can't select anything. However, choosing the date with the keyboard (using up, down and tab) works.

Just managed to check myself. It's definitely a bug.

Ddankegel 2012-12-21 github

Letting steam update me to
OpenGL version string: 3.3.0 NVIDIA 310.14
didn't help. The original report http://steamcommunity.com/app/221410/discussions/1/882965239659617128/
mentioned a CSS problem that sounded rather specific, has anyone at Valve checked that out yet?

Ddankegel 2012-12-21 github

BTW one way to reproduce is to go to Borderlands in the store, as shown in the screenshot in the original report.

This is currently being tracked in our bug DB, closing this as a dup.

MMajkl578 2012-12-27 github

@frankc-valve: This should be left open until a fix is released. Whether it is in your bug db or not is irrelevant here, bug reports should be closed only when they are resolved, otherwise duplicates will occur (since original issue was incorrectly closed as in this case).

MMrSchism 2012-12-27 github

The report is still able to be found by searching. Anyone who searches will find this. If they don't search, it makes your point moot.

MMajkl578 2012-12-27 github

@MrSchism: Yes, and he finds this issue which is closed. So he opens new one, because he believes this should have been fixed (since it is closed).

MMrSchism 2013-01-01 github

True. I'll reopen it, as it's still being reported.

Ggdrewb-valve maintainer 2013-01-04 github

This is a Chromium issue, you'll see the same problem in Chrome when going to the Steam store web page for the game. The fix in Steam will come when we pick up a newer version of Chromium with a fix.

MMrSchism 2013-01-04 github

Well, there we go.

Sscottlu 2013-01-09 github

Fixed.

MMrSchism 2013-01-10 github

@scottlu I'm still experiencing the bug (system info: https://gist.github.com/2a08c81b43e37915dccb)

Sscottlu 2013-01-11 github

What product page / what url are you seeing it?

MMrSchism 2013-01-11 github

I'm getting it on Killing Floor, Ravaged, and Borderlands 2 (just checking for consistency).

Age verification game pages does not always work. Could the age determination to get your account information. Please.

Ffrankc-valve maintainer 2013-01-17 github

This will be fixed in a future release of the Steam client. We'll keep it open until then.

Rroman-bronis 2013-01-17 github

Fixed for me with Jan 16 2013 built (1358447263)

Good news, it's working on our test boxes also. Closing as fixed
