mee too im also having this same issue but they can hear me just clear but i cant hear them at all.... in cs 1.6 beta the audio is absolutley clear though +1 to the developers and evryone working hard out there to to make this game work on a mac... and linux... but ya @myfreedom u can chack to c if ure mics working by typing voic_loopback 1 in console hopefully this gets fixed soon
Rate was 100 by default. i wrote "rate 20000" in game console - so now all works fine

I've installed Condition Zero. I hear all in-game sounds, but there's no voice communication, i cant hear teammates, they cant hear me.
I have AMD Athlon x2 5600+, integrated Realtek HD audio, Radeon 4850 with 13.1 legacy driver, standart ubuntu 12.04 installation
TF2 works well, no such problem
