Duplicate of #28. This is a well known issue and a solution is being researched.
this one is dealing more with why if the game is already available for linux steam wouldn't have it available in there library?
The developer has to give Valve a copy and coordinate with Valve to get it set up for their system.

so if i go to https://www.humblebundle.com i can download the Linux version of the games but when i activate the games on steam none of them download except shank 2. Even after downloading the game it won't let me play it. But my point is that the games have been made for Linux but i can't play them on steam.
