Hi! I hope this isn't a duplicate issue, as I did some searching, but it does seem like someone would have mentioned it by now. I've noticed that a number of games featured on the main store page will show up with subtitles saying something along the lines of, "Now available for mac and pc!" However, some of these games (such as Bastion, Half Life, World of Goo and others) do not mention their linux support. Yes, they have their tiny Tux icons, but ideally these should be marked as Amnesia is marked. I hope this is something that can be easily addressed in the coming weeks... thank you all so much for supporting linux!

As long as it doesn't state "Now available for Mac and Windows" I'm fine with it, the PC platform includes both Windows and Linux. Of course, "Now available for Linux, Mac and Windows" would be more precise, though.

I think valve did not want to advertise so much while Steam for Linux was still in beta. I expect official Linux news from now on, like for shank2: http://store.steampowered.com/news/9994/

#737 is a request to stop using PC to mean Windows, this probably covers that…

I'm not positive it does. What I meant was that the games featured on the front page "slider" which now feature linux support (quite a few at the moment, on my end), should all state their compatibility the same way. If at least two games are billed as: "Now Available on PC, Mac and Linux!" (Crusader Kings 2 and Amnesia), then why would Bastion say "Now Available on Mac & PC"? Why would Sword & Sworcery just say "Now Available on Mac & PC"?

I'm just saying that, as opposed to the "don't call it a pc" thing, this is simply questioning why some games with the same OS compatibility are being billed differently. Not in a mad way, or anything. I just think all of those little blurbs should say the same thing, because that would be consistent... and in doing so, we should probably tack on that those games support linux. Right?

I've passed this on to the store folks, which passes out of our tracking.
