If you right-click the game, go to properties, select the "betas" tab, is there an available beta for the game?
Yes there are two. And they both require a password.
Shatter is in private beta atm, yes.
A game appears in your linux games list when there is any part of it labelled as linux-compatible, even if those parts are in a private beta.
It does bode well for it having a release before too long.
This issue is largely historic, dating back to #28. As such, closing it.

For posterity: This bug was posted 15 days before it was made available to download.

Noticed that shatter was now on the "linux games" tab and decided to install it. However, it does not download anything during the install process. Attempting to run it gives this in console.
Also a "Failed to start game (missing executable)." box appears. Upon actually looking at the local files, there is only an empty "Shatter" folder.
I am guessing this is the same problem as Issue #1931 .
