In Steam Client (doesnt matter what are you doing typing search query in search text input, or typing your login name, credit card number, etc) you push aon keyboard at once, and getaa` in text input.

And same thing happens when you are pasting something from buffer into text input.
E.g. you paste your and get your your.
Pasting with shift + ins, ctrl + v won`t work for me.

The copy/paste issue (it not working) is well known.

As for the double-character issue, that's a new one on me...

Seem to recall someone on the discussion forum had repeated key presses from the Input Method they were using and had to put steam into the software’s blacklist - are you using anything non-default for kb input?

Hm, maybe you are right and this is not Steam. Im using Gnome 3, classic view, and Im using X neural Switcher. Maybe problem excatly in switcher. Will try switch it off on Monday. Trying to playing during free time on my work.

I also have not seen the double characters. Did you reopen this bug because it is still occurring without X Neural Switcher?
