That'd be a bit of a crazy read because, based on what I've seen, people jump around the various Steam/Linux projects as necessary.
How many hours for example valve is using daily to update steam/improve games/port games? Those things would be nice to know, even they are not so important. We just want to know that something is being done behind closed doors even we cannot see it everyday. :D
@deri82 Are you a journalist or a President of a state :/
If I establish a new city on civilization 5, does that make me the king and emperor of a state? If I publish information on internet does that make me a journalist?
The issue is that they could be working on, say, getting CS:S bugs squashed, find a bug that they didn't notice on goldsrc, then immediately pop over and see if the issue persists. If it does, they can fix it then either stay or go back.
It doesn't work the same way as most other people/organizations do.
This is supposed to be a bug tracker, isn't it? o.O
Yup.... but feature requests are accepted.
Probably hacking Linux, hammering Linux, & hardening Linux. wink
For what it's worth.... There was a blog. It's still there, but it's hasn't been updated since November. Before that, it was updated once a month, starting in July.
It's a decent read and lays the groundwork that this request requires, but it would get harder and harder to keep updated.
Looks like that site is dead. For me, Firefox complains about SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN on blogs.valvesoftware.com, and when pushing through that, I'm greeted with an "Access Denied" error.
Nothing extracted yet.
Could there be a blog or some website or something that would tell us users what the steam linux team is currently up to?
