I have successfully played css source.

Today I tried to play 1st time CIV 5 using wine. The only problem I had with the game was that my cursor was different location than the pointer at the moment.

After this unsuccefull try I switched back to another steam, which is not installed on wine drive. And tried to play native css source. I had the exact problem.

What happened? Yesterday I was able to play css source with no problem at all.

I quess the civ5 changed my resolution a lot lower and that's why its not working on css either.

Did resetting your resolution fix the issue?

I used xrandr -s 1920x1080 command and it fixed the problem.

So it wasn't steam's or css's fault.

It may have been wine doing this. Can you replicate this with other games in wine or only with Civ5?

This doesn't appear to be a Steam issue so I've marked it "not a bug" in the Steam sense, although it does look like you're hitting a system bug. This will get closed eventually, but you're welcome to continue your discussion.

It seems that this is wine issue...Or whose fault? The problem is that it doesn't restore the screenresolution used.

It's probably a wine issue with wine messing with your settings; Civ5 restores resolution in Windows (except in very rare crashes, which is a historical issue with Windows).
