I prefer to run Steam normally for power reasons but sometimes I go into Big Picture on specific occasions and for games with gamepad support. The problem is that my integrated graphics chip is too weak to show Big Picture at what I would consider a decent resolution.
Rather than having to restart Steam with Primusrun I would prefer it if Big Picture could be launched with Primusrun instead, giving me power savings normally and performance for Big Picture mode. This could also work with graphics switching on other OSes.
I don't know about the technical challenges but given that Steam seems to restart into Big Picture mode it seems feasible. Conflict with individual games launch options seems the most obvious conflict. Thanks for your time.
