I just bought L4D2, though I'm aware it's supported on linux yet. The game did get installed though. The game does show up on my installed games list and when I try to play it I get the following message:

Left 4 Dead 2 is not available on your current platform

@johndrinkwater I wasn't sure if it actually managed to install the game, as opposed to it attempting to (as per 16).
