You should pass this information on to the game developer.

for the linux port, probably better contact flibit

The issue occurs with vsync on or off. The exact line of the tear is exactly at the point where my xfce4 panel is located (admittedly, I haven't tried a vertical panel). Regardless of the size, I get the tear right on the line.
Closing as general video driver quality from 2013 is no longer relevant.

I've been loving Super Hexagon since I got it in the bundle, but I noticed a little bit of screen-tearing on my netbook. This does not change if I enable/disable the community.
It occurs exactly where xfpanel's boundary is.
