I had OpenTTD 1.2 (Debian version) added as non-steam game. Few days ago, I updated to 1.3 which dropped original executable (openttd-wrapper). Steam now fails to launch it (obviously), but doesn't report any error, instead, it does nothing, like the game has never been started.
There really should be some more user-friendly behavior, like:
a) an error message, e.g. "The game cannot be launched, probably it has ben removed from your system.",
b) prompt for selecting new binary,
c) removing the game from library.
