Hi.
I have Steam and two installed game - TF2 and CS:S.

When appear one after another Steam updates, install them - which took me another free disk space.
Each firing games like TF2 and CS: S resulted in the attachment of the next megabytes of memory.
I have a large drive, but the partition with Steam does not have it too much, and the installation of these games, I can not change it.

I download the latest update, but the installation attempt ended with the seizure of the last free space on the disk. In addition, Steam is not updated :/
Games do not want to run because they lack space.

Does anyone know how I can free up disk space missing? I mean the folders Steam cleaning of unnecessary files such as temporary or downloaded updates, and items collected by the game as maps, etc. But in order not to spoil the game and Steam installation.

Someone that can help clear the Steam directory?

You should post this on the regular Steam forums as there'll be more people there who can answer general questions.
