Instead of several Linux distributions, only the top 3
should be listed in Steam Hardware Survey
others will be listed on other Linux
Exemple:
Ubuntu xx.xx: X%
Ubuntu xy.xy: X%
Arch X%
Mint xx X%
Mint xy X%
Other Linux X%

I disagree, there is value to some in the full variety, but I would like to see all linux distros with 0.00% condensed into Other Linux.

Also please start grouping Linux as its own platform and not under Windows. The way it is now doesn't help anyone.

An organize by tree view mode might be good where it just starts of as Linux, Mac and Windows and then you can traverse down to the leafs which are the specific distributions then release versions then architecture.

Linux x%
-> Ubuntu x1%
->->13.04
->->->64bit
->->->32bit
->->12.10
->->->64bit
->->->32bit
-> Fedora x2%
-> Mint x3%
-> etc. x4%
Mac y%
Windows %z

I'm with Tele42. The granularity of OS stuff is really interesting and potentially valuable data. I notice that it's not present in the current survey results and consider that a loss.

The big issue here is the inclusion of Linux in the Windows only data, where it doesn't really belong.

Would be nice to see it like this:

Windows: x%
Mac: x%
Linux: x%

and then if you click on one of those, or click that checkbox for Windows, Mac or Linux (linux needs to be added to that), then it would give you a listing of the specific distros
