Same issue here, worked around it by setting "" to false (was originally true) and putting the desired resolution in the values for screen_width and screen_height to the desired values (in my case 1920x1080 and turning off borders with kwin) the mentioned configuration is found in
~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/World of Goo/properties in the file config.txt .
Thanks, setting fullscreen to false and an explicit resolution worked for me too.
I'll close this issue.
Wouldn't have closed it since it is still a bug, I just mentioned a workaround so people with multiple screens can actually play.
Going to reopen as others have had this issue on the forums, http://steamcommunity.com/app/221410/discussions/3/846939071148077581/
I can confirm. And it's actually not possible to exit the game if the right screen has a lower resolution than the left one - had to SIGKILL it.
I've got it onto one monitor by editing the config file, but it's not the monitor I want the game to be on. How do I switch it to the other monitor?
Closing old non-Valve issue (can still be found in search).
Today nostalgia kicked in, bought the game on steam (played on wii last time) this helped me, thanks!
Nothing extracted yet.
World of Goo is the first Steam game I have tried in Linux.
And the problem is that the game screen is extended over both my displays.
I use an ASUSK53SD notebook which has Intel+Nvidia graphics card. I use one external (VGA) display and my main display (it has the gnome shell toolbars) is the built in LCD.
The "Primary Display Resolution: 1366 x 768" below is correct, but the game is run over the complete "Desktop Resolution: 2646 x 1024" instead.
And I use optirun from bumblebee to start the game.
Known work-around: Disable the external display.
