I tried to switch Steam language to Russian, in HL2 langauge was switched automatically, but when I started the game I got this:

You shoud be happy that you can see anything.
Chinese, japanese, korean fonts are invisible ^.^

Same at screen, but without squares

Fix: Don't use bitmap font. (Or choose another font for helvetica)
