Hmmm, I went to /home/brian/.local/share/Steam/userdata/
Then I renamed the folder in it to .bak
Restarted it with the assumption it would pull down my details again and it seemed to create the folder again and populate it but then load steam still saying I have no games.
Got the game listing back by opting into the beta and allowing it to update, deleting local profile then opting out of beta again.
Then I launched steam using ./steam.sh from terminal instead of typing steam into terminal as I was doing.
Not sure what got the library back but I can see it again now :smile:
I had been getting an issue at startup saying there was missing key in the local config store but clearing that file and allowing it to create it didn't solve the issue for some reason so I'm really not sure why running ./steam.sh worked. It did add a bunch of lines to terminal saying adding license so it obviously added the licenses back into the local store or something.
Nothing extracted yet.
It is stuck at connecting to steam window after I installed Unity Tweak Tool and changed the GTK theme for Unity to Gnome-Cupertino from Gnome Look.
Once I switched back the theme to default Unity theme, it started up again fine.
Issue now is it says I only own TF2 when I own about a 100 Steam games with about 20-30 that work on Linux...
