I've installed games, in the past, without any issue. Just tried to do so now, and the steam client freezes solid. Issue happens regardless of the game (tried it on a few titles).
Can run existing installed games perfectly fine.
Running Debian 7 (Wheezy), with libc installed from Jessie (glibc ver 2.17).
No error showing up on the command line which I run the steam client from. I can kill the client perfectly fine with ctrl-c, and restart it without a problem. Just can't install any new games.
