Well, I've got a wireless Xbox360 controller for Windows, and I'm having issues when editing the buttons for Big Picture. It works fine with most games I've played (only in FIFA 12 have I had issues, but that's a specific FIFA problem).

The problem is that I can't add the LT and RT functions, because they are recognised by Big Picture as the same, in this case, Axis 2. So everytime I try to add the command for one of them while editing my controls, it eliminates the other one's command.

Additionally, the Guide button (middle Xbox button) doesn't work either, BP just won't recognise it, no matter how many times I press it, so I can't access the Steam In-game functions (I have to go to my keyboard and use the traditional commands).

The other buttons/commands work fine.

Please, if you guys can help me, I'd be very glad. The Axis-2 problem is the main thing, and it's bothering me a lot. But if you happen to know how to solve the Guide button problem too, even better :-)

As this isn't a Linux issue this isn't the ideal place for this issue, but I'll pass it on.

Oh, I hadn't noticed this was a Linux forum, a friend of mine redirected me here. Sorry.

From what I hear from the regular Steam team an upcoming Steam beta client will have some controller fixes that should help here.

Are you still seeing this with the latest beta client?
