What should I do ؟!
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand. I understand that you are missing packages, but that isn't a Steam issue, that is something you would need to resolve.
He's asking for the steam binary to be compiled against glibc 2.14 because that's the version RHEL6 uses. That is the only way steam can run on RHEL6 since they won't update glibc beyond 2.14 on any RHEL6.x version.
That said, I don't understand why anyone would want to use RHEL as a gaming platform. It is an enterprise Linux distribution intended for a corporate environment. Recompiling to support 2.14 when designing on 2.15+ sounds like a very bad idea.
AbedSHP, I suggest you switch to a different Linux distribution. Fedora would be the obvious choice if you are fond of the Red Hat distribution, but if you are dead set on a more stable enterprise version, SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 SP3 would fit your needs since they have a newer glibc version, and do update packages like glibc with their minor releases (service packs.) They also support major version upgrades without a reinstallation, unlike RHEL.
You can run Steam client on EL6 using Ubuntu's eglibc 2.15 (hint: LD_LIBRARY_PATH).

BTW: I use zlib 1.2.3 from EL6 repo and openal-soft 1.12.x from EPEL.
The current steam client default configuration should use the steam-runtime variant of libraries if they are newer than what the system provides.
Feel free to reach out to your distro's package maintainer for steam if you wish to pursue this further.
Nothing extracted yet.
