Videos play too fast

If I go to a game's store page from within the client and try to play a video, it plays at about 2-3x speed.
I'm not sure if it's using the html5 or flash player. Any way to check?

Are you using hdmi connector as output? I had that issue before on linux with amd. Not sure if it was open source driver or amd's made. But I would quess it was the open source.

Nope, using an Intel graphics notebook with no external output.

Right click menu should make it obvious which you’re using.
Is there any debug output from steam in a terminal to suggest why its running the video quicker? Do you hear audio from the video playback?

I did hear audio, it was also quicker.
But I can no longer reproduce the issue, might have been a client update.
Right click gives me the same menu I get when clicking anywhere on the page (this also was the case when I still could reproduce the issue).

I do notice some errors in terminal

And the problem appeared again. Also noticing it happens for YouTube videos that are played within the client as well.
