Low fps of dota2: on Linux mint 13 64bit, Alienware M15x

I got very low fps(10~30) when playing native dota2 in steam. My environment is as below:

hardware: Alienware m15x laptop, intel i7 1.8G qual core, 8G ram, nvidia gtx460m
software: Linux mint mate 13 64bit full update, installed ia32-libs, nvidia official driver 319.

any suggestion?

I found a way to improve fps, that is upgrading the kernel version, after I upgraded the kernel version of my Linux mint 13 64bit from 3.2.x to 3.8.0 by mint official repository, and replace the nvidia official driver to mint repository's 319.32 driver, I got dota2 fps improved to around 30 and playable.

Hope I can find further way to improve the fps closed to Windows 7 performance.
