Half Life: Source No sound on gun output

I fire the gun that you steal off of the military guys. Rapid fire ones pretty early in the game.
It's supposed to make a sound, but it doesn't. Developer Console says
Failed to load sound "hgrunt/gr_mgun2.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository

Also, one other warning of the same nature:
Failed to load sound "weapons/hks2.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository
Failed to load sound "hgrunt/gr_mgun1.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository

The issue must be reported probably to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games instead of Steam for Linux.
Anyway, make sure you are using last beta of HL:S and HL2, then try to validate game content (steam://validate/280).
