As soon as I maximize the steam window my system practially crashes. Sometimes I can switch to a tty, kill steam and recover, but other times it seems like it has killed the output of video to my monitor and a hard reset is required. Let me know if I can provide anything else useful!

Okay so it doesn't always crash when maximizing, but once maximizing and then trying to switch workspaces seems to cause the issue more often. Also here is the output from running steam in the terminal until I had to kill it
