On the Store's front page, clicking the green shopping cart icon in the bottom-right of the item graphic does not add that item to your cart. If you click the item and go to its page, then click the "ADD TO CART" button, the item is added to your cart.

Just tested this on my system. It appears to work sometimes, and other times it does not.

This appears to affect the "Todays Deals" and "Flash Sales" sections the most. I cannot get these to add to cart using the +cart button at all. Further down in the publisher packs it takes multiple clicks but eventually those items will add successfully to the cart. It is a very delayed process however. Sometimes I will click multiple +cart buttons for different publisher packs, and find myself at the cart page with 2 of the 4 or 5 I selected in the cart.

As WPhyer stated, going to the items page and clicking "ADD TO CART" does work every time.

Hmmm... Not seeing this at all. Are you both running Unity?

Aaurikai 2013-01-02 github

I am. Stock, fresh install of ubuntu 12.10. Installed ia32-libs , all
available ubuntu updates, nvidia binary from hardware drivers in unity, and
that's about it.

I've never gotten this to reproduce here in house. I've been running 12.10 64bit (and 32bit), as well as 12.04 32 & 64 and cannot seem to reproduce this. In all these cases, my DE is Unity.
Can you see if this is still happening for you?

I don't even have a cart icon. Apparently I'm experiencing a bug I'd never have noticed.

Can someone throw up a screenshot of where they're seeing it so I can compare?

This was experienced during the holiday sale. Can't say it will show up
again today, but I will try again when I get home from work .

sorry, now that the holiday sale is over, the store menu has changed
drastically. Where there were once individual games with sale prices and
"add to cart" buttons available, there are now only links to the game's
store page, so this is not testable currently.

Come the next "sale" i can confirm or deny the resolution of this issue.
Thanks for your vigilance in the meantime!

Restarted. Managed to get a cart button, but no icon. Is it the button we
are referring to?

I'm going to mark this as closed - non-reproducible until then. The issue may resolve by the next seasonal sale. Please keep this post marked somewhere and comment on it if you find the issue again.
