No, it's not my monitor having a dark spot, there's really a strange blotch on the progress page if you view your downloads. Here is a screenshot:
Look to the immediate right of "0 bytes/CURRENT" and you should see what I mean. The problem is easily reproducible by simply opening the "my downloads" screen, and has been consistent for a while (I even tried reinstalling Steam to see if that would fix it)
Unless the spot is highly intentional, it seems like a graphical glitch to me. I haven't noticed it before in the Steam client, and it just looks so out of place...
