Steam crash few times per day

I'm on ubuntu 12.04 32bit and steam crash few times per day .At the moment when it crash i don't use it .I just somehow notice that it's closed. Please let me know if additional info is needed .Thanks

it would be helpful if you would load up a terminal and run steam through that, then output the term info here of the crash.

Got it .Its related to xboxdrv ( userspace utility for xbox controllers ) .I need it to play games like trine 2 which refuse work with kernel driver xpad.

Command i execute is

sudo /usr/bin/xboxdrv --detach-kernel-driver --config .xboxdrv.conf

mario@ubuntu-desktop:~$ more .xboxdrv.conf

And crash from terminal 3 seconds later ( truncated output )

Tried different versions of xboxdrv but still the same issue

Sounds like this is an issue with xboxdrv rather than Steam, so I'm closing this out. Please feel free to re-open if you have more information or can point to a bug in Steam.
