Hi, I would love to see this added to the game, to work for live games (spectator mode) or even normal games.

I mean, one filedescriptor or posix shm somewhere, to allow amateur casters create their fancy notifications and analyses on the fly.

Please correct me if I'm wrong and this already exists in some farm (public dota online API or something else).

What are the chances that VAC is gonna get me if I start snooping around live executable (ptrace & similar, without actually writing into memory)?
