When im using latest beta version in Steam. All my games not working. Games are only black screen.

I hate to state the obvious, but Ubuntu 12.04 is pretty old. Outdated drivers and libraries. Probably best to upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 and test it again.

if im using steam stable release in ubuntu 12.04 all games working very well. Im noticed if im using steam-runtime-release_2014-04-15 beta. Some of the games will no longer work. HL, HL2, Beast of Prey etc. I'm getting black screen when im starting a game.
