Sometimes Steam causes screen rendering error. Part of my screen get overlayed. This usually happens when I alt-tab switch between game and desktop apps. Restarting Steam solves the problem.

It looks similar but my problem has nothing to do with Chromium. I'll post a screenshot when it happens again.

It doesnt necessarily have anything to do with chromium. I was just guessing. The bug that caused steam to glitch out also caused chromium to bug out for me.

looking at your specs it probably is the nvidia driver but i am not sure.

Are you running beta? If not you could try that and see if its fixed.

Some similar problem occurs just now.

Look at the No replies in this thread on Firefox title bar, it still exists when I switch workspace but disappears when I switch to steam and mouse-over some links.

The problem occurs this time is not exactly the same as before. The glitch I describe earlier won't disappear unless I restart steam.

Hello @hrzhu, are you still experiencing this issue on an up to date system?

Hhrzhu 2018-03-09 github

No, I'm not experiencing the issue on latest OS/Steam. I think this issue can be closed.
