This issue originally affected the Steam Client, but now I only see it in Big Picture.

But here's an updated copy of the report:
When MSI made my laptop, the keyboard layout team made a few decisions I'm not
happy about, one of which is that Home and End don't have dedicated keys, but
there is a numeric keypad, so I can get by just by making sure I don't ever
turn numlock on. (I also had to set XKBOPTIONS="numpad:microsoft" in
/etc/default/keyboard but I doubt that's related, it's just so I can use shift
with the keypad nav keys without them becoming numbers)
As a result I've gotten used to using the keypad nav keys everywhere, but have
found they don't work in the Big Picture Mode of the beta Linux Steam client. The normal arrow keys work fine. Here is a link to a xev log I made with all the keycodes
