A friend bought Wasteland 2 for my birthday, but not the steam version.
Whenever I try to start the game via steam it will start correctly, but not recognize any savegames that have already been created. It still can create new savegames under ~/.config/Wasteland2/Save Games/, but when I restart it via steam... it again doesn't find any (although the files are still there!). If I start the game without steam, everything works. I have no special permissions for steam or wasteland2.
I suspect some sort of collision with steam-internal detection mechanisms, since the game is also available via steam.
