When using the Linux client itself and also the Linux client's in-game browser, pressing the Enter key always performs two carriage returns.

This has several undesired effects. In the worst case, forms on internet pages can be submitted twice. In the best case, it is just an annoyance in that you have to backspace the unwanted carriage return if you are attempting to format single-spaced new lines.

Same bug here when typing a message in the Steam browser. I have the same software environment as Unknown-Zombie, except my UI language: French, and LANG: en_GB.UTF-8.

This bug only manifests itself inside Steam, not in other GTK2, GTK3 or Qt applications.
