A recent update to Steam for Linux has rendered the notification area icon difficult to see:
The application launcher icon is much easier to see as it is dark. Either an option to change the color scheme of the notification area icon, or automatically choosing the color scheme based on system theme would be preferred.
I'm using Awesome WM, and I don't think Steam Client can recognize
which colour theme is applied on every WM. Maybe, this can be solved
with providing several colour themes for Steam Client itself, how do
you think?
