hard to explain...
when moving the mouse past the 'Invite to Chat Room' and 'Invite to Group' selections of this menu, the entire drop-down menu closes
this is probably caused because both of these selections have a sub-menu, and the sub-menu is wrestling away the focus from the main menu
below is an image of the menu in question, if you move your mouse off of this selection, then the entire drop-down menu would close suddenly
this has been observed on ubuntu with unity, lxde, and kde, and in a fresh kubuntu installation
edit: i do not seem to have any auto-focus features enabled, so it should'nt be related to those familiar bugs
