I am only guessing this is the issue but I recently purchased Metro Last Light
Redux and Metro 2033 Redux and both of these said they were finished
downloading essentially immediately, they also said 0/0 B downloaded. I tried
change the state flags to 1026 in the appmanifest file and the same thing
happened on restart. I then tried app_update in steamcmd and it said something
like "timed out waiting for update to start" and then said it was completely
installed. I was going to try depot_download and when I saw on steamdb that
the linux depot had 64-bit in the notes I set @sSteamCmdForcePlatformBitness 64 and tried app_update again. Lo and behold it started downloading. Time
to update my 64bit chroot I suppose.

It would be nice to have some kind even message like the "not available on
your platform" one come up instead of looking like it worked and then
complaining about not being able to find the binary.

Scratch that, can no longer reproduce. I was doing a bunch of multiarch stuff and that thing with steamcmd that may have fixed it. Or it may have just been a ephemeral server/network error...

Nothing extracted yet.
