I get the "Couldn't find Steam content, did you move it?" dialog when I start Steam. But when I click "Reinstall", I get an error :
Couldn't set up Steam data - please contact technical support
In a terminal, I get this :
Setting up Steam content in /home/kiwec/.local/share/Steam
My home folder is linked to a NTFS drive (drive mounted on /home via fstab), with umask=000.
System : Arch Linux x64, with bumblebee (nvidia + mesa, and their lib32 variants), on a GTX 960.
Solved : I moved ~/.local/share/Steam to an ext4 partition, made a symlink and Steam started just fine.
Nothing extracted yet.
