"Steam is having trouble connecting to the Steam servers"
This is occurring on 15.04. I have attempted both the Ubuntu repos and the latest deb from the Steam website and both have the same issue. I setup port forwarding with no luck. Finally, I booted the same computer into Windows and was successful into logging into Steam under Windows 8.1
I then attempted to use a different username in Ubuntu with the same issue. I tried directly connecting to the modem and had the issue. Finally, I attempted both WiFi and USB tethering from my phone and still had the issue.
