This happens in any game, sometimes not the first time but after several attempts. Choose any friend, open their menu and select "Block All Communication...". Overlay freezes and disappears, there's no way to open it again without restarting the game. Sometimes the input to the game also breaks (tried with Borderlands 2), it stops responding to keyboard/mouse input but sound and animation works.

The main problem is that this menu item is located right above the "invite" item so it's easy to misclick it (especially when you invite many players and there's no way to select all of them and send a batch of invites, any chance of improving this?) and have the entire overlay crashed and thus have to restart the game for it to work.
