Likely duplicate.
@gdrewb-valve while I'm at it, merry xmas, you're doing a magnificent job :+1:  :christmas_tree:
horrible workaround: set it from windows (sheesh... ok, I've said it)
At this point I'd rather prefer a way to manage my library from a standard browser instead :scream:
I have the same issue

I'm having a similar issue with the radeonSI driver.
Same issue:
OS:
Linux arch-elite 4.2.5-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Oct 27 08:13:28 CET 2015 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Nvidia Driver Version:
nvidia 358.16-3 [installed: 358.16-2.1]
@anadon There is a known issue with nvidia 358, but not 355, you should open a separate issue report with your system information, in particular any CrashIDs related to the radeonsi crash.
@Tele42 This is one of those "magically fixed itself" issues for my system. So many quirks just pop up it's not worth reporting them all anymore since they blip into and out of existence so erratically.
Installing the new nvidia driver (361.16) fixed the bug for me.
(for those of you who are on Arch, you need to enable the testing and multilib-testing repositories if you want the new driver right now)
Thanks for checking the beta driver. I can confirm, with 361.16 this is not happening anymore.
I had the same bug with NVIDIA 358.16 and OpenSUSE Leap 42.1 64 bit. Upgrade to 361.18 fixed the problem for me.
Nothing extracted yet.
Steps:
1 - Open Steam
2 - Choose game
3 - Set category, click "OK"
4 - Watch the
world burnclient crash and ignore your settingOS (as per uname -a)
