In general, issues with games need to be reported to the game devs, not here. That said, any chance you are using xf86-input-joystick?
Ah i see. I'll let them know as well.
Yea i think i have it installed. Should i try removing it?
so ... my memory (often faulty) tells me this has come up before, and if xf86-input-joystick is active, then everything is working as expected.
Ah, with another round of googles using that package as a keyword i found some info and it seems like it's very counter producting to what the steam controller is trying to do. It emulates mouse movement from a joystick. Removing it fixed the issue. Maybe should be posted somewhere. #4237 is most likely caused by the same package.
Nothing extracted yet.
I run Manjaro linux and get something i think is a double input issue in Shadow of Mordor. The game seems to read some of the controller inputs as both the mouse and joystick. For example when i use the analogue stick the camera moves up/down and my character moves. Also noticable in menus. When i move the analogue stick the mouse starts moving and the input is also sent in menus and stuff to move the selected option.
