Valve Representative, please please please fix your DNS servers/how your DNS servers update.
I am using Google's DNS servers and my ISP, etc, resolution fails.
I did dig ip address of media.steampowered.com
and I manually inserted ip vs A record in hosts file, and I was able to update.
You can argue, that my DNS settings were at fault.
I doubt it was wrong with google DNS resolver and then also my ISP DNS server.
I can start steam but can't seem to sync my games with cloud any more it seems.
I am not able to download games or open up overlay web pages.
I created my own DNS server and use it atm, no luck.
Most links I click generate message in console:
'Store/Community web auth request failed: Auth error'
SSL libraries are installed.
If I try to get URL of page i try to open up in steam i get:
http://error/
when i try to open up browser in overlay, i can open up new tab, i can see different address very fast, and it changes automatically to "http://error/"
tried different account on my PC.
I created new steam account and tried my own on new account on my Linux machine.
Same story.

Hi,
About PC:

Amd Vishera(8 core 4hgz), 32 gigs of ram, a few tens of gigs free space on ext4 in $HOME.
I start program like this:

I shall provide output of:
