Has anybody seen this on non-Mesa drivers? The last line is a Mesa bug according to a web search.

Amnesia runs properly and you don't get the last line if the overlay isn't used?

This - Amnesia.bin: brw_fs_reg_allocate.cpp:422: bool fs_visitor::assign_regs(): Assertion `size >= 1 && size <= 4 && "Register allocation relies on split_virtual_grfs()"' failed.

Is with disabled overlay

Amnesia runs properly with disabled overlay? The web page suggests that the message causes game failures, but it's not clear.

I have a fix for the launcher window not rendering, that will be in the next Steam client. The game itself runs properly after that, so I don't have a repro of a crash at startup. If that still occurs generally (not just with Mesa) after the next client release this bug can be reopened.

Nothing extracted yet.
